 Community Fundraising

Our communities, helping theirs.

Sometimes the needs of so many can seem overwhelming. Where do you start? How can you make a difference? And how much of an impact can you really have?

EMMS International know that small is beautiful and that a lot of small, local activities together can deliver life-saving changes. We’ve been small for over 100 years, but the millions of people whose lives we have saved don’t mind at all.

However small the difference you can make. Whatever your skills. There’s a role for everyone in our life changing work.

A Role For Everyone

We need ambassadors, local coordinators, member of local groups and speakers. A small commitment is all that is necessary. We will provide ideas, materials and support.

Ambassadors

Could you represent the work of EMMS International in your area?
We need people to be lights for our work, organising your own activities and  promoting our events.

Local group coordinators and members

Could you get together with a group of friends or colleagues?
EMMS International need people who can pray, fundraise and encourage others to support our work.

Speakers

Given the right support could you talk about the life saving work of EMMS International?
EMMS International need you to approach groups such as Guilds, churches and Rotary Clubs and offer to promote our work.

 Volunteering for EMMS International

There are frequent opportunities for volunteering, either in the EMMS International offices or overseas. Volunteers are also welcomed for help at community events.
Overseas opportunities include those for medical, dental and other health-related students undertaking their electives.  Our partners are always keen to hear from volunteers and students.

Volunteering as a 'Friend'

EMMS International has many supporters throughout the UK and in other parts of the world who help us in many ways.  Some organise coffee mornings, bring and buy sales, carol parties or other things besides.

You can help by being willing to organise small fund-raising event in your church, community or general locality.
