Being a girl and living in remote rural areas of Malawi is harder than we can imagine. Better healthcare and support, provided by EMMS International and their local partners in Malawi, is bringing hope to young women striving to lift themselves out of poverty and take control of their lives. Incredible advances are already being made, for example in preventing HIV transmission from HIV+ mothers to their babies. But there is still much to be done.
Every girl’s life matters.
