The importance of prayer to a missionary organisation should never be under-estimated. Prayer for the work of EMMS International, its partners, its supporters and staff is very much needed.
Invitation to prayer
You are invited to pray on a daily basis, using the prayers in our prayer diary, (click on) ‘Prayer Focus’.
EMMS International office staff meet together at some point during the week for a period of Bible reading, prayer and meditation. They would welcome prayers being said for them and the work of EMMS International, wherever you might be in the world.

Our father in heaven, we pray that our hearts and minds may be set on you so that you may be with us, and all who work with EMMS International.
Be in our vision as we strive to serve you, show us your joy as we bring the healing art to people everywhere in the name of Jesus, give us your light and help us to be involved in the life of the world community. Give us the power to make a difference in your created world. Help us to care with healing hands.
Inspire EMMS International in the work it does and give strength to its staff, directors and supporters to carry out its tasks to the glory of your holy name.
We ask all this through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord.
