Prayer Focus - Week Commencing 28th August 2011

·         Give thanks for a good holiday for Stephen, Claire and the boys with family in the UK prior to the move to the new facility.

·         Praise God that the new Bethany Hospital has been given the long-awaited Occupation Certificate by the Municipal Corporation and that the transition from the Lok Hospital to the new building went smoothly.

·         Stephen says: ‘It is humbling to think that the final permissions came when I was in the UK, and not through my direct presence and intervention with the final authorities. Sometimes we think that without us the LORD is handicapped. Praise God, He still accomplishes His will in spite of us...’

·         Please pray for the new staff and for the different facilities that have been added to the Bethany Hospital, such as the MRI/CT scanner and the radiotherapy equipment. Fortunately, the some of the routine for this has already been established.

·         “We are so thankful to God for the great team that He has given us. At the end of the day it is all about people and relationships . Please pray that this will be a time of bonding and unity among the people working in the hospital. Time and time again I have to remind myself that it is all about people, not goals and projects.”

·         Please continue to pray that the Lord will perform a miracle and provide Bethany Hospital with some land for car parking. It seems impossible as the owners who are developing the land next to the hospital are playing very difficult to get, but the Lord can change the hearts and provide us the same.
