Roadshow 2010 - Meet the people that you're supporting!
We will be running four ‘Road Show’ events across the UK this autumn to tell people first-hand about our work and that of our partners.
We are delighted that Deepak and Ashita Singh from Tezpur, Assam in India, and Lonnie Ncozana from Blantyre in Malawi will be there to tell us about the health challenges in India and Malawi, and how our partners are responding to them. James Wells will also give an overview of the situation in Nepal.
The meetings will be held in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast and London on the following dates, refreshments will be served:

The Speakers:
Lonnie Ncozana
Having worked as a nurse, midwife, Community Worker for AIDS control and then Primary Health Care Co-ordinator at Mulanje Mission Hospital, Lonnie undertook a Masters Degree in Public Health. Today she works for the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) in Blantyre Synod Health and Development Commission. She is married to Sam and has four children.
Deepak Singh
Having worked in EHA’s Chinchpada Christian Hospital, Maharashtra, and Makunda Christian Hospital, Assam, and in the department of surgery at CMC Ludhiana, Deepak is now Managing Director for Baptist Christian Hospital, Tezpur, Assam, balancing general surgical work and administration on an equal basis. He is married to Ashita and has two children.
Ashita Singh
Ashita studied at CMC Vellore, worked at Mure Memorial Hospital CNI, Nagpur. then joined Deepak at CMC Ludhiana where she completed her MD in Internal medicine in 2004. In October 2004. she and Deepak moved to Baptist Christian Hospital, Tezpur and now have two children.

We have had the privilege of seeing this hospital being transformed from a desolate, run-down place near shut down, to a thriving place vibrant with purposeful activity, capable of offering quality care at an affordable cost to the needy in this area.”
