Screening of "Hippocratic: 18 Experiments in Gently Shaking the World"

Date: Monday 8th October
Venue: Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh
Time: 6-8.30pm
Tickets: Free

After a drinks reception in the Library, join us for the Scottish premiere screening of "Hippocratic:18 Experiments in Gently Shaking the World", a must-see documentary for all those interested in the power of the human spirit, human rights and social justice.

Narrated by David Suchet, CBE, this film is the story of an extraordinary global health leader, Dr Raj, who is described by the New York Times as “the father of palliative care in India”. Dr Raj was hugely supportive in helping establish one of EMMS International's palliative care programmes in India.

We are delighted that he will also be our guest of honour for the evening and join our panel discussion which shall take place after the screening in the Great Hall. For more details about the film please follow the link http://hippocraticfilm.com/
