'The Value of the Student Medical Elective'
Student support and training has been at the heart of EMMS International from its very early beginnings. Over the years medical students have gone out to a vast array of remote hospitals all over the world to share their skills, compassion and faith.
To kick off our 175th Anniversary year we are hosting a Student Elective Symposium and Burns Night Ceilidh at St Silas Church in Glasgow to share experiences and thank students and alumni for your support. The half day Symposium will focus on the value and impact of Student Electives with keynote talks from leaders in global medicine and global development. There will be opportunities to network and as a part of that afternoon some of our Alumni will give presentations on their elective and its value to them.
Following the Symposium we will have a Burns Night Supper and Ceilidh, giving plenty of opportunity for further conversations, reunion, sharing and celebration. Your friends and family are warmly invited to come along too.
Please register for your free ticket using the right hand 'Purchase Tickets' box.
