Saturday 3rd September - Isle of Arran
Come along for the ride and celebrate our 175th Anniversary by cycling around Arran.
Escape for the day to enjoy the unique delights of this picturesque island known as ‘Scotland in Miniature’.
Take part in a full loop of the island or take the shorter route across the centre. Share fellowship and fun as you make new friends and meet up with others you may have cycled with over the years in different corners of the world.
We’ll take a clockwise route out of Brodick for the 55 mile loop or do the southern half loop via The String road of 34 miles. On either route you’ll see some astonishing views and wildlife too. Expect crashing waves, seals, red squirrels, basking sharks, highland cows, golden eagles and more…
How your sponsorship can help:
Over 175 years, generations of friends have got behind the work of EMMS International to bring health and hope to the world’s poorest communities. There is still work to do. Together we can bring health and hope to people who have no access to, or even expectation of healthcare. Together we can bring care and compassion to those fighting to lift themselves out of poverty in Malawi, India and Nepal.
Participants will need to make their own way to Ardrossan Ferry Terminal with their bicycles before catching the ferry to Brodick with the group. Ardrossan is easily accessible from Glasgow Central station in 45 minutes.
