February Prayer Focus

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. - Galatians 3:28

Providing access to quality healthcare for all those who need it is the core of EMMS International’s work. In doing so we demonstrate God’s love for all people. During this global pandemic, we must not lose sight of the specific needs of individual people and communities.

  1. As vaccination efforts continue around the world, we continue to pray for a fair approach both within and between nations to distributing these essential vaccines.

  2. Please pray for ongoing wisdom for our partners INF Nepal in planning for Palliative care development and extension into increasingly more rural areas. Ask for good relationships with relevant government officials and stakeholders to make these plans a reality.

  3. Please pray for the EMMS International team. We give thanks that the team has been able to adapt to new ways of working. Pray for continued refreshing as we work for home.

  4. We give thanks for God’s sustaining love. With a long road ahead in the fight against coronavirus, we remember the wider impact on resource-poor countries including the economic downturn, closure of schools, food insecurity. Too often, the highest price will be paid by the poor, women and girls.

  5. We give thanks for progress towards building brand new nursing college teaching and accommodation facilities at Duncan Hospital. We pray that all practical details would go to plan and the buildings be completed as soon as possible.
