We pray for ongoing global COVID-19 vaccination efforts and ask that all those who need protection would receive it. May this be an opportunity to demonstrate cooperation and heal global health inequalities.
We pray for younger generations as they deal with the impact of COVID-19. We ask for a safe and speedy return to education and for the protection of young girls who've been at increased risk of childhood 'marriage' and early pregnancy.
As Glasgow prepares to host global climate talks later this year, we pray for communities around the world who bear the impact of the climate crisis. May they know fruitful provision in their farming and see action around the world to reverse this harmful trend.
We pray for community palliative care patients and their families, many of whom are poor and vulnerable. May those caring for them continue to be able to reach them and offer them care and compassion.
We pray for graduates of the Clinical Officer and Nurse Midwife training programmes in Malawi and ask that they would continue to bring health and hope to their communities. We pray for new healthcare workers appointed as part of the COVID-19 efforts.
