Prayer Focus - November

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens. - Eclesiastes 3:1

We feel the changing seasons as nights grow darker and temperatures become colder. Our activities change and perhaps we find a different purpose for our days in this new season. Through life we go through seasons too and our Prayer Focus this month encourages to reflect, give thanks and pray as we move through the seasons.

  1. We pray for the team in Nepal to deliver the Sunita project. After 6-months of operation, the project is gaining pace as it reaches out to bring quality palliative care within reach of rural communities across Nepal.

  2. We give thanks for young women entering into a new season of life with fresh hope because of training to become healthcare workers. We pray that this will not only bring positive change in their lives but also for their families and the communities they serve.

  3. In Malawi, preparations are underway for the new farming year. The expected rains of the coming months mean now is the time to prepare land and purchase seed and fertiliser. We pray for those facing the uncertainty of changing weather patterns and economic pressure that could put this year's harvest at risk.

  4. We give thanks for new partnerships with churches, trusts and companies that have come on board to help advance EMMS International's mission of bringing health and hope. We pray for these new relationships to grow in strength and impact.
