September Prayer Focus

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need . - Hebrews 4:16

While our requests may seem numerous we approach our God who is gracious and merciful with a promise of help in time of need. It’s a privilege to be able to bring the concerns of others before Him too. As we hear of answered prayers from frontline workers during the pandemic, we can have greater confidence to draw near in prayer.

Praise God for our partners in Nepal, India and Malawi, giving thanks for their perseverance and compassion, asking for continued protection and good health and pray that they will be salt and light.

We pray for the care of frontline healthcare workers who continue to contract coronavirus. Pray for the staff team of INF Nepal, that they will be well cared for as they work through the crisis and give thanks for the innovative “Get Well Soon Package” for COVID infected staff to address their immediate need for isolation and boost their morale as a part of staff care

.

Give thanks for our quarterly online prayers which enable supporters from all over the UK and beyond to gather and pray for our work and hear from our partners.

Praise God for the young women attending health professional courses - 3 for the Diploma in Medical Lab Technology and another 14 training as Auxiliary Nurse Midwives, making a total of 17 young women on health profession courses. This is the first time for many girls from the district around Duncan Hospital to be able to choose science studies.
