Urgent need for help in Malawi

Published 14 Mar 2019

Heavy rain has led to severe flooding in Malawi, leaving 56 confirmed dead, and many more in danger of flooding and water-borne diseases.

The floods are having a devastating effect on people living in this area, with access to food, healthcare, and shelter all at risk.

EMMS International's partner hospitals are responding to this disaster now and they need your prayers and support.

Mulanje Mission Hospital is in one of the worst affected areas, they are providing urgent medical care to those injured as well as caring for existing patients. EMMS International is already working with Mulanje Mission Hospital to help those with life-limiting illnesses, and these people are the most vulnerable to the effects of flooding.

Please pray and give to support those who are injured, homeless and in need of medical care.
