The EMMS International Student Elective Symposium is free and open to everyone with an interest in “The value of the medical student elective”. It will run from 2-5pm. To register for your free place please follow the link Symposium
Keynote speakers will examine the value and impact of Student Electives in a global context. There will be discussion and debate about the benefits of international electives to students, professionals, international host institutions and the NHS. It is an afternoon for anyone and everyone who has overseas elective experience or is considering it in the future. It is an opportunity to network, reflect, share new thinking and gain a fresh perspective on global healthcare.

The symposium will be followed by a Burns' Night Supper & Ceilidh. There are still some tickets left for the event from 6-10pm in St Silas Church, Glasgow.
