Madhipura: Give Health a Home

Building and improving staff accommodation at Madhipura Hospital will save this hospital for the community that relies upon it.

Improved accommodation will grow the number of healthcare staff at the hospital and allow much-needed services such neonatal intensive care and surgery.

Madhipura Hospital serves India’s poorest people.

The 2 million people served by Madhipura Hospital, on average, live on less than £6 a week. The hospital is well respected and in demand, but this once proud institution is in crisis.

Flooding in the area, compounded by annual monsoon rains, has damaged the structure of the staff accommodation so much that it compromises the whole hospital.
