For people living with a life-limiting illness in Malawi, a diagnosis can bring fear, pain and uncertainty. For families living in poverty, access to the care and medicines they need can be extremely difficult. This is where the partnership between EMMS and the Palliative Care Association of Malawi (PACAM) makes such a difference.
During this webinar, Sarah and Lameck will discuss the progress that has been made in palliative care in Malawi as a consequence of the longstanding partnership between EMMS and PACAM.
Sarah and Lameck will also share information about a new project to improve access to oral morphine who currently need to travel long distances to district hospitals to access this vital pain medication.
